MODULE_01EVIDENCE

Asking price

01An asking price reflects a seller’s position and may include room for negotiation, relationship considerations, taxes or other terms. It is evidence of availability, not proof that the market has accepted the amount.

MODULE_02QUALITATIVE

Auction result

01A public result records an outcome under specific sale conditions. Clarify whether the figure includes premium and whether the lot was guaranteed. One competitive result can be informative without being representative.

MODULE_03EVIDENCE

Valuation

01Insurance, estate, charitable contribution and transaction advice may use different definitions, effective dates and assumptions. A qualified appraiser or legal and tax professional should address the relevant purpose and jurisdiction.
